PIAA is encouraging all the districts to purchase this software. District track and field results will be E-mailed to the PIAA. This will make the seeding process for the state meet much easier.
The district representation to the Board of Directors is based on the following ratio: one representative for every fifty schools in each PIAA district. Thus District 9 has one representative.
An item of considerable interest is membership in the PIAA by private schools. The Over-sight Committee is discussing the issue. In 1973, private schools were permitted to join the PIAA by legislative action.
District 9 schools and committee members are encouraged to make greater use of the District 9 Website.
More information concerning the website is coming.
A motion was made by Tony Flint and seconded by Jim Manners to retain Tom Elling as the District 9 web master. The motion carried.
