DISTRICT 9 COMMITTEE

SPECIAL MEETING

AUGUST 24, 2004

                A special District 9 Committee meeting was held at Aiello’s café in Ridgway, PA to consider the eligibility status of a number of students attending schools in District 9.

                The meeting was called to order by Chairman Manners at 5:30 PM.

A motion was made by Gary Elder and seconded by Jerry Linsenbigler to grant athletic eligibility to Nathan Brosius a student at Clarion Area High School.  The motion carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Gary Elder and seconded by Jerry Linsenbigler to grant athletic eligibility to Danielle Nicole Hughes a student at Clarion Area High School.  The motion carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Bob Wicker and seconded by Roger Collins to grant athletic eligibility to Cody Fredric McGee a student at Curwensville Area High School.  The motion carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Tony Flint and seconded by Jeff Jovenitti to grant athletic eligibility to Talia Ree Hughes a student at DuBois Area High School.  The motion carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Tony Flint and seconded by Jeff Jovenitti to grant athletic eligibility to James Ross Pryde a student at DuBois Area High School.  The motion carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Tony Flint and seconded by Jeff Jovenitti to grant athletic eligibility to Keri R. Johnson a student at DuBois Area High School.  The motion carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Tony Flint and seconded by Jeff Jovenitti to grant athletic eligibility to Cassandra Lynn Califf a student at DuBois Area High School.  The motion carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Tony Flint and seconded by Jeff Jovenitti to grant athletic eligibility to Chett L. Hepburn a student at DuBois Area High School.  The motion carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Tony Flint and seconded by Jeff Jovenitti to grant athletic eligibility to Zachary Lee Hepburn a student at DuBois Area High School.  The motion carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Jeff Jovenitti and seconded by Susan Valentine to grant athletic eligibility to a student at Clearfield Area High School when the proper paper work in signed by the “sending school’s” principal.   The motion carried unanimously.

The following foreign exchange students have been granted athletic eligibility:
